Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Transfer students may be eligible for merit scholarship upon acceptance. They may also apply for Federal Student Aid by completing the annual Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
• Tuition and Fees:
  The current tuition for the 2017-18 academic year is $23,500 a full-time students. Fees are $1500. Part-time students are billed $979 per credit.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  PCA&D accepts transfer students who successfully complete the admissions process (http://pcad.edu/admissions/admission-requirements/). Course content is reviewed by the college. Only grades of C or higher in 100-level courses will be considered.
• Transfer Applications Received:
  The college receives an average of 70-75 transfer applications out of approximately 450 total applications per year.
• Transfer Applications Accepted:
  An average of 30 transfer students are accepted to the college which make up approximately 15% of all students accepted each year.
• Transfer Applicants Enrolled:
  Approximately 15-20 transfer students enroll in Pennsylvania College of Art & Design each year or about 18% of all new students.
• Transfer Agreements:
  Pennsylvania College of Art & Design offers transfer articulation agreements with several community colleges in Pennsylvania and Maryland.

• Degree Completion Programs:
  Transfer students may enroll in all majors offered at the college which include Fine Art, Graphic Design, Digital Media, Illustration, and Photography.
• Credit For Life Experience:
  Pennsylvania College of Art & Design does not offer credit for life experiences.

  High school transcripts are required in addition to transcripts from all colleges attended. Applicants not holding a high school diploma must submit an official GED transcript as well as high school transcripts.
